Electrical Test Equipment For Substation & Protection Relay Testing
Products: Measurement Equipments
Portable measurement equipment designed for general maintenance and commissioning of substations.
The instruments are designed to operate under substation environment.
These instruments can measure coils, contact resistance, phase angle, frequency and circuit breakers.
The instruments are portable, small, lightweight, and are battery operated.
Circuit Breaker Analyzer
The PME-500-TR represents a breakthrough in the concept of testing, timing and condition-based analysis of medium- and high-voltage circuit breakers and combinations with disconnectors.
Ultra-fast, error-free connections to the circuit breaker, and an intuitive, easy to learn graphical touch screen interface with multi-language menus, dramatically reduce the test time while increasing the analysis accuracy.
The built-in battery supplies power for 10 hours, eliminating the need for a generator in a shut-down substation, and provides clean, pure DC current for accurate four-wire contact resistance measurement of the three main contacts in a single test.
An optional plug-in module allows the integration of motion information like travel, speed, acceleration and contact sweep in the test report.
Test results are immediately displayed in tabular and graphical forms, and can be directly output by the built-in thermal printer, saved in flash memory for future reutilization and downloaded later on to a personal computer for archiving and export to various data interchange formats.

Dynamic Micro Ohmmeter.
The PRIME 600 is a new and advanced generation of micro ohmmeter
It is the only micro
ohmmeter in the market that integrates both the contact resistance and
the dynamic resistance measurement (DRM) for cost-efficient condition
evaluation of contacts in SF6 and vacuum type circuit breakers; PRIME is
a high current micro-ohmmeter that provides true pure DC with smart
control up to 600 A, a wide measurement range with high power, dual
ground testing process, thermal printer, touch display, pre-defined test
modes and automatic reporting.
The PRIME plot the DRM time/resistant curve that describes the resistance changes on the measured spot throughout a few milliseconds, for detecting contact anomalies and wear; the analysis of the relevant characteristics and values of this curve is an effective diagnostic way of the internal condition of the breaker contacts, and reveals potential problems related to the arcing contact condition without having to open the chamber.
The high quality of the robust IP67 protective case also ensures the safe transport and use on harsh environments.

Phase Angle Meter.
The PME-20-PH is an instrument designed mainly as a phase angle meter, although other parameters, such as Frequency and Power Factor can be measured. The instrument has an analogic scale that enables it to be used as a synchroscope.
The instrument has two inputs, which are galvanically isolated: a voltage input up to 500 V RMS and current input up to 25 A RMS, that can be connected directly into the input taps.
The phase angle measurement has a resolution 0.1º, regardless of the input values.
Inputs to 750V and 1000 A can be made using optional accessories.
The instrument is supplied with 4 rechargeable AA size batteries, which provides a 6-hour autonomy.
The display is a Graphic LCD, with a back light that can be adjusted to suit the ambient conditions.
The measurement results are presented simultaneously with the necessary complimentary data, and in the case of the Power Factor measurement, the instrument indicates the phase angle quadrant.
CHARACTERISTICS
Phase angle accuracy: +/- 0.1°
Voltage input: 0.2 to 500 V RMS direct.
Current input: 0.1 to 25 A RMS direct.
Selected Measurement Modes:
Phase Angle displayed as +/-180°
Phase Angle displayed as 0-360°
Frequency: 40 to 500 HzPower Factor: 0 to +/-1, indicates phase angle quadrant.
Use as a Synchroscope.
Battery Powered.
Reduced size and weight.
Portable Timer.
This chronometer has been designed as an accessory to our injection instruments to test protective relays.
Its function is to determine one of the most important parameters, the reaction of the delay time of a protection relay in relation to a trip condition.
The time between activation / deactivation of any electrical contact can be measured.
CHARACTERISTICS
Accuracy: ± 0.01%.
3 selectable display modes: s, cycles, Hz.
Resolution: 1 ms.
Measurement modes:
Seconds Mode: 00.000 to 99999 s
Cycle Mode: 0000.0 to 9999.9 cycles
Frequency Mode: 20.000 to 4000.0 Hz
